Materials Engineering Research:

Paine/Zaslavsky Lab: CuI Investigation for Thin Film Transistor Application

In May of 2021, I joined Professor David Paine and Professor Alex Zaslavsky's research lab at Brown University. Ever since then, we have been working on investigating the properties of copper iodide for future thin film transistor applications.

Srivastava Lab: Carbon Fiber and Glass Fiber Composites Characterization

In May 2022, I joined Professor Srivastava's research lab at Brown University. I collaborated with postdoc Dr. Vaishakh Kottila Veedu on a funded project by the Department of Defense Office of Naval Research on multiscale damage modeling in composite materials used in underwater applications. I was responsible for fabricating carbon fiber-reinforced polymer composites and glass fiber composites using a vacuum-bag molding process. I also operated the MTS Tensile Tester to obtain tensile strength using the 2D Digital Image Correlation (2D- DIC) method.
